Avora has re-certified its ISO 27001 compliance for 2019 in line with its stringent data management protocols. ISO 27001 is an important certification that addresses GDPR, security and privacy, and ensures all members of Avora’s staff demonstrate behaviours that are aligned to safe working practices as part of their daily routine.
In addition to meeting legal GDPR obligations, ISO 27001 is one of the most effective ways of reducing risk and strengthening systems. The efficiency and transparency of the certification also gives Avora customers that assurance that their data is handled responsibly.
As with all ISO standards, ISO 27001 recently underwent a revision which now includes a total of 114 controls in 14 groups. With the latest controls reflecting changes in modern technology and its impact on organisations, Avora is committed to keeping pace with all aspects of compliance and industry regulations.
