26 June 2019, London, UK – AVORA CEO, Ricky Thomas, has been named the ‘2019 Deep Tech Entrepreneur’ at the prestigious Enterprise Awards, known as the Oscars for Technology Entrepreneurs, for his work in co-founding and building AVORA. AVORA uses the power of machine learning and augmented intelligence to give organisations a totally new way to understand diverse and complex data quickly and in one place – revealing critical insights and intelligence in seconds, as opposed to days or weeks it might normally take.

Mr Thomas is a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record of recognising disruptive opportunities and building and scaling successful companies. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at IG Group before building a number of business across Europe, most notably PetMeds which he sold in 2012. Founded just four years ago, AVORA has already built an impressive client base in both the UK and USA, including Telefonica, Figleaves, OMD, NPR, HBO Latin America and Ocado.
